Giving a little back

Chris's work organized a volunteer day with Tree Utah. In just 3 hours, approx 45 volunteers from ERAC & the UofU, planted over 525 tree saplings! We were in this big field that's part of the Jordan river run-off. It was a lot of work but I enjoyed spending the time with Chris.

Easter

Making Easter eggs on Saturday night

I even make an egg for "Percolator"
The Easter Bunny hid eggs in the backyard (he did a great job). Anna had a blast finding them. She carried her little basket around and said "Hum, where would they be? Think. Think. Think".

My mom, sister, Ethan and Haylee all came up for dinner. We watched Slumdog Millionaire, which is a GREAT show.

Anna and Aunt Tannia (with Bear throwing the ball to herself)

Anna had the best time playing with her cousin Ethan

Spring is here!

You know it's officially Spring when baseball is all around!!
Chris got free tickets to the Bee's opening season game. We had 2nd row seats behind 3rd base. The seats were awesome! We sat with what we think was the ski instructor team from Brighton ski resort. Most of them appeared to be out of towners who work here in the winter. You sure could tell the guys from Boston! I got quite a kick of out the their heckles towards to other team.

Okay so the only pictures I got of the "Bee's" was the actual Bee himself.

Making waffles with Dad

Anna helps Chris make breakfast every Sunday. Her favorite is waffles.

Swim Lessons

We started swim lessons at the Clearfield Aquatic Center last week. It's great because Chris and Erica and Jason and Angie are all in the class. Anna likes it because she gets to hang out with Kaylee and Avva on Monday's and Wednesday.
We do songs to make it fun for the kids.
Yesterday we working on getting the kids to go under water to retrieve toys.
Look at this picture of Kaylee. She is completely under the water. I am always amazed when I watch her. She such a quick learner.

Anna LOVES to jump in the water... ...she does NOT love to float on her back.
Even little Alle likes to float on her back!
I would generally never post a picture of myself in a bathing suit, but I love this picture of me and Erica and the girls. Oh and being pregnant gives me some nice cleavage!!
After a long swim lesson we reward the kids by letting them play on the slides. The kids LOVE the big kid slide!

The Percolator

When I was pregnant with Anna we nicknamed her "Baby P". Even after we found out we were having a girl, she was known as "Baby P". Well my online friend Somawas has nicknamed this baby "Percolator". I like it.

Yesterday was my first "official" baby appointment. I got to hear the heartbeat and all my anxieties went out the window. It's official. We're pregnant. That fast paced "thwump, thwump, thwump" seals the deal.

My official due date is November 15th. Since I had a cesarean with Anna we discussed that it would be best to schedule one with the Percolator as well. When discussing possible dates I told him "I will not have my child on Friday the 13th!" he agreed and we decided on November 12th.

So today we are 8w 3d. I've got a LONG way to go!!
