My cute neighbor Shari asked if I would let Anna be one of her models for the cute fabric designs she creates. I said yes without even hesitating!

Look Who's 2!!

Well she's already been in the terrible 2's for a while, but now I can officially call Abby my little 2yr old! Abby was telling everyone to STOP as we were singing Happy Birthday to her!Of course we had to get her a new baby.

Trick or Treating

Halloween was so much fun this year with the girls. Particularly Abby. She loved going from house to house and handing people her goodies bag. She smiled and giggled each time someone put candy in it.

Anna wanted to be Rapunzel and of course had to have the long hair. I originally bought her a wig from Smith's to wear, but it was kind of ratty and ugly. Think of the hair Samara had in the movie the Ring! So when my day care provided mentioned she had a friend selling a long, blond wig, I jumped at the chance to surprise Anna with it. And she was surprised! She loved the hair, even though it was hard to keep on her head Halloween night. But that's what happens when you're running so fast from door to door!!

Anna said "Jack Sparrow, my mom wants to take your picture!" We met up with Sariah and her kids and finished the night trick or treating with them. I have to give a shout out to Chris for decking the house out this year. We had a fog machine, crawling spider, scary men hanging from the trees and lights and much more. He loves Halloween!

Halloween Weekend

Well we officially ended another summer with our last trip to Lagoon for the season. The girls really love going to Lagoon so we just had to take them to Frightmares.



Here's hoping Anna sprouts a few inches between now and Memorial Day so she can ride some of the bigger kid rides! She's SO close!!

Denver Road Trip

Chris and I took a little road trip to Colorado a fews weeks ago. We drove my bosses truck, along with his hunting gear, to Denver where he has a home (he was flying in from Atlanta and needed his stuff!) So we voluneteered to drive his truck out and then took a few days of vacation before flying home. I have never been to Denver so it was a fun little getaway.

DENVER!

We hung out a lot on the Sixteenth Street Mall since we stayed at a hotel downtown.

There was lots of shopping and tons of restaurants.

I had to laugh when a girlfriend of mine asked "why on earth would you go to the zoo if you're not taking your kids?"

Chris and I really enjoy getting out and seeing this type of stuff. Plus the Hogle Zoo is pathetic, so anytime we get a chance to see a "real zoo", we're up for it.

And just like San Diego, the Denver Zoo puts Hogle to shame!

If this is the back, guess what's on the front?!We got to watch a 50yr old Hippo get his teeth cleaned.The next day we hit the Denver Aquarium. Before we left for the airport on Wednesday, we met up with my friend Skip who works right in downtown for lunch. I've known Skip for more than 10 years and his words "shit or get off the pot" were the words that really stuck with me when I was quitting smoking 9 years ago!
