When mom's not looking
Holly knows she's not supposed to be on the couch. Anna knows Holly isn't supposed to be on the couch. But when I'm not looking, the two conspire and look what happens! Anna pulled the blanket up on them and was tickling Holly's belly.
End of summer carnival
On Saturday we went to Chris's work carnival. We had a great time. They had the company softball tournament, lots of food and games for the kids and a bunch of those blowup bouncers to play in.
Anna's mouth and t-shirt were stained blue by the time we left.

Mackenzie. She is such a cute little girl.
Anna and Mackenzie in the jumper. Dustin would lay the girls down and then jump around them so they'd go bouncing around. They thought it as hysterical.

Dustin, Tristen & Mackenzie.
Most people know I'm not the most adventerous person, I'm always a little on the cautious side. So while Chris was playing softball, I ran into my nephew Taylor (who works at the event planning place) and he talked me into climbing the rock wall.
A. It's a lot harder than it looks (but then again I'm a weakling)
B. It's a lot higher than it looks
C. I had a great time. I climbed twice!!

I don't need washboard abs or muscle mad biceps. I am all about the legs.
I love, love, love this picture of Chris's calves.

Dinner AND a show!
I'm sitting in the drive thru at Taco Bell last Saturday and see this guy dressed in a black Scream costume gathering all this stuff out of his car in the parking lot. He kept this weird costume on the entire time and I could think was "please let me get my food before you rob the place".
It turns out this guy has the awful job of standing on the street corner with a sign for a home builder. At least he has fun on his job. Well, the most fun any one person can having standing on the corner of a busy intersection in a Scream costume while it's close to 90° while holding a sign for homes that most can no longer afford.
And yes, that is The Little Mermaid you hear singing in the background!!

My mom has always grown the most beautiful, colorful flowers every summer. She claims she doesn't know what she's doing, but I think she's keeping it a secret! These end of the season pictures don't do the flowers justice.
