William Earl Perkins
1928 ~ 2011
Born June 2, 1928 in Missouri, Bill passed away July 12, 2011 from respiratory failure.
He served in the Navy during World War II. He married Joyce Jacobson on May 8, 1948 in Elko Nevada. They raised four sons. Bill was a glazier by trade and worked hard all of his life. He taught his sons all he knew about building, mechanics, and life. He loved to tinker on all kinds of cars and trucks. He enjoyed the outdoors and hunting and spent many summers and hunting seasons with his family at their cabin. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; sons Larry (Tina) and Kent; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by sons Kevin and Barry. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2011, 2:30 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road. A viewing will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Mortuary
