Well the time has come!
We have moved everything from the Utah house to the Idaho "Big House" as Abby calls it.
Our schedule the next few weeks will be crazy with moving locations.
Our renters move in June 1, so the girls and I are still living in the home for now.
We're sleeping on the top mattresses from their beds, with clothes in baskets in the closets.
No table. No chairs. It's picnic dinners on the floor/blanket for us!
I guess we could eat in the motorhome at the table. But where's the adventure in that?
Besides, we'll be doing that soon enough when we park the "temp home on wheels" at Wheatley Farms next week until school gets out.
Then it's off to Casa de Mama for the rest of June until I finish out work.
The girls were so excited for Daddy to come home.
The drive from Layton to Victor is SO pretty. I love the drive through Swan Valley the most. I'm thinking that is a great location for family pictures in the future.
It rained the whole day we packed up the moving truck. But it made the drive so green and lush and the clouds were amazing. I tried to take a few pictures along the way, but they really don't capture the beauty of the country.
What a guy! He's a good egg that one. We had help loading the truck in UT, but had to unload it ourselves in ID. We did pretty good just the two of us. We make a good team.
Truck is unloaded. Garage is full. MOVING IS FUN!
We were all SO tired by Saturday night. Good thing the couch was set up!
I love Abby in this picture. She looks so tired and comfy on Dad's lap.
More pictures from the drive home. We were up and back in 2 days. I really think if the drive was ugly and boring it would have been worse. But how can you not enjoy driving through the country like this?
I do want to give a BIG shout-out to all those that helped us move. From driving the big scary truck to my house (Virginia), to the muscle movers (Marty, Jason & Nicole). You guys helped make this transition much smoother! THANK YOU!
