Take Me Out to the Ball Game!

Chris's work had an event at the Bee's game, so we were able to go and enjoy the game, food and beer all for free. Free beer at hot dogs at a summer ballgame, you can't beat that! After the game the field lit off fireworks to cheesy 80's music. It was a fun night!

...and yes, the Bee's won! It was the bottom of the 9th, tie game, bases loaded and the 2nd baseman hits a popfly to right field! Totally could have been a grand slam moment if the ball would have gone over the fence. But luckily it was just enough to get a runner in and win the game.

24th of July

We celebrated the 24th at Dan and Allison's house. They live right across the street from Liberty Park so we had a perfect view of the fireworks (and great private parking!!) There were 3 other little girls there as well as Elliott, so Anna had a great time playing with the kids.

So Anna and this little girl were playing in the dirt pile. The little girl would load her shovel with dirt and dump it into Anna's bucket. Well the more I watched, the more I started to notice that only every so often was the little girl dumping dirt into the bucket. The other times she was dumping dirt on...ELLIOTT!!

Poor Elliott was covered from head to toe! But he such a laid back kid, he really didn't seem to mind. He was just busy having fun!

The Lake Videos

The boys on the tube. They talked a lot of trash to me and Virginia, who could have been a lost worse on them than she was!! They lucked out that Anna was in the boat or I'm sure she would have done more to throw them off the tube!!!

On the beach we hung out at there was a rope swing. Chris went a few times before doing a sideways flop! He's still quite red from where he hit the water!! Wish I would have got that on video instead!!

Fun Summer Sunday At The Lake

We went with Josh and Virginia to Pine View Lake today up Ogden Canyon. I was so nervous about taking Anna on the boat. But she did great. She was very nervous at first, but by the end of the day she was in the lake and floating on the tube with Chris. Virginia is a very good driver and I trust her that she'd keep us safe. The water was so warm, we had a BLAST!

4th of July

We went to Josh and Virginia's house for a 4th of July BBQ. Anna loves watching the horses and made a little friend while there (Josh's couisin). Those two followed each other around all night, copying each other, playing and throwing the ball to Woody. Great food, great company but a little sad on the fireworks (sorry Josh, a dozen bottlerockets doesn't really cut it!). We had a great time, as always.
