Some progress is better than no progress. Right?

This basement finish is that project that never ends. Of course we really only have the weekends to work on it, and by the time the weekend comes Chris doesn't want to do any more work. I get it. But it's a HOME PROJECT! You work on it when you're home!! So with the big Sherman Williams sale, I decided to buy all the paint we needed to finish the basement and got to work on the playroom. It's a great purple color Anna picked out!
Anna loved that she got to help paint HER playroom.
Next up: finishing the playroom closet and door!

Spring Means Kids!

Spring means lots of kids playing in the backyard!

Anna wouldn't have it any other way!!

Read. Follow. Pray

I was recently introduced to a new blog. David Chalk’s Cancer Chronicles. This guy is witty, strong and well, just plain brave. Cancer sucks ass. I know that because I watched my dad battle Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. I watched my girlfriend Angie lose her mom to breast cancer. It’s a nasty, nasty illness and no one deserves to have to go through it. This is David’s third round with lung cancer. He has a great sense of humor and I wish him all the best.
